May 2023 I painted for 5 days at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre for their annual Art Jam creating my parents Diamond wedding painting, and exhibiting some explorative works including Grandmother Kelp (Oil on canvas) see notes below.

Extract from Art Jam Notes:
"Grandmother Kelp ....the King of the Gnomes appeared floating upon a tree stump among the bobbing coconuts. Naturally I turned the dribbles into kelp, and was reminded of the Kelp Coin people who claim growing kelp around every continent will take us back to pre-1990 emission levels* in one year (ironically making the entire carbon tax and credit scheme redundant)... and Grandmother Kelp was born, holding back the tidal wave of Climate Change corruption, saving the next generation of elementals from extinction.

PAST WORK
Following the 2009 Black Saturday fires I created various landscape series mixing inks and gouache on canvas. Some of these works burnt in the subsequent shed fire in 2020.
Art Therapy was my road to recovery from the Black Saturday bushfires.
